Research Interest/Focus

My research revolves around merging state-of-the-art industrial automation technology with the rapidly emerging needs associated with high-throughput toxicological screening. With a gowing backlog of unscreened compounds, new screening throughput are required to tackle this mammoth problem.

My focus is on vision-guided robotics which enable the automated manipulation of living organisms for toxicological research. My goal is to develop a rapid, cost effective, and accurate screening platform that combines the accuracy and relevance of zebrafish model with the throughput and cost benefits of cell culture screening.
